Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy focuses on building meaningful skills—such as communication, social interaction, and independence—that enhance everyday life. Although grounded in strong scientific research, ABA is also highly adaptable, engaging, and designed around the unique goals of each child and family. For younger learners especially, play-based learning is a key component of the process.

Although we recommend beginning therapy as early as possible, success can be achieved no matter when you start.

Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) create customized treatment plans by considering each child’s current abilities, age-appropriate developmental milestones, communication style, and behavioral needs.

Behaviors:

We work to reduce challenging behaviors and increase appropriate behaviors that communicate the same needs. We want your child to stay safe and be willing to learn.

Social Skills

We want your child to have the skills they need to access and develop meaningful friendships and connections throughout their lives. This may include siblings, family members, and peers.

Play skills

Play is a crucial part of how children learn. We want to ensure that your child can enjoy and benefit from any play opportunity they are interested in.

Communication & Language Skills

We want to give your child all of the skills necessary to self-advocate for their wants and needs, and to access every part of their world imaginable.

Independence

Every child deserves the opportunity to be independent in meeting their needs and adapting as they continue to grow and reach new milestones. We want to instill the confidence in your child that they can be who they want to be.
